The MFC Answer Book, Solutions for
Effective Visual C++ Applications ,Author: Eugene Kain ,Published by
Addision-Wesley 。

例如你知道ddx在update()运行
时默认调用dodatachange(),等等一些函数刁用。

  2、编一个较大型的项目,不停的使用VC,边用边理解看过的东西;

  4.API---->MFC.

  (2)《inside visual c++》(《visual c++

(ps:I forgot bookname!!!)
站D/L source code !

WinMain()和WindowProc(...) Windows SDK程序架构惨遭淘汰(其实现在大

  Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again

          --by Xu Zhimo

  Very quietly I take my leave

  As quietly as I came here;

  Quietly I wave good-bye

  To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

  The golden willows by the riverside

  Are young brides in the setting sun;

  Their reflections on the shimmering waves

  Always linger in the depth of my heart.

  The floating heart growing in the sludge

  Sways leisurely under the water;

  In the gentle waves of Cambridge

  I would be a water plant!

  That pool under the shade of elm trees

  Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;

  Shattered to pieces among the duckweeds

  Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?

  To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream

  To where the green grass is more verdant;

  Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight

  And sing aloud in the splendor of starlight.

  But I cannot sing aloud

  Quietness is my farewell music;

  Even summer insects heap silence for me

  Silent is Cambridge tonight!

  Very quietly I take my leave

  As quietly as I came here;

  Gently I flick my sleeves

  Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away

  Help:

  Rosy: adj.

  Shimmering: adj.

  Sludge: n.

  Leisurely: adv.

  Duckweeds: n.[

Youth

  Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind. It is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple1 knees. It is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep spring of life.

  Youth means a temperamental2 predominance3 of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exits in a man of 60, more than a boy of 20.nobody grows merely by the number of years; we grow old by deserting our ideas. Years may wrinkle4 the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust1 bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

  Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure5 of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from infinite6, so long as you are young.

  When the aerials7 are down, and your spirit is covered with the snows of cynicism8 and the ice of pessimism, then you’ve grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism9, there’s hope you may die young at 80.

Youth

Youth

  HELP

  1) Supple

  2) Temperamental

  3) Predominance

  4) Wrinkle 使……

  5) Lure

  6) Infinite

  7) Aerial 天线

  8) Cynicism

  9) Optimism

English & Logic

Language learning is the indispensable in my life, but I got interests elsewhere. Besides shooting the hoop, I worship Logic. I never extravagant to be logician, but I’m fond of having the vexed logic theoretical debate with Fran and other dialectician. That’s the mine where we dig joyance, and we call it joy walking miner! Anyway, right here I’m please to share it with you.

  Let me spread you a story that can enlighten your thinking--

  Once upon a time, there’re two kinds of tribes live in one mountain. Namely, human and vampire. Three years ago, there happened a severe disease and it made half of the human and half of the vampires out of their mind. They are intelligent human, unintelligent human, intelligent vampire and unintelligent vampire. Outwardly, you cannot distinguish the difference between them, but deep down inside, they’re totally different: All the intelligent human are honest, they always tell the truth; and all unintelligent human are liars, they never tell the truth. The characteristic of vampire are just on the contrary side. All these four kinds of resident live together and they’re all straightforward people. When they meet a question, they just simply use two words in their answer: Yes & No.

  Here the story begins: One day, a scholar came to investigate that mountain, and on his way to the peak, he met a guy. The scholar really wanted to know which kind the man belongs to? And whether the man is intelligent or not? According to the above, you’re allowed to ask that guy two questions, then you’ll help the scholar to get his answer.

  Questions & Answers:

  Step 1→

  Ask the guy: “Are you Unintelligent?”

  The four answers will be:

  Intelligent Human: “No, I am not.”

  Unintelligent Human: “No, I am not.”

  Intelligent Vampire: “Yes, I am.”

  Unintelligent Human: “Yes, I am.”

  Then you can conclude that the guy is Human or Vampire.

  Step 2→

  Right now you have an alternative choice.

  Choice 1:

  Ask the guy: “Are you a human?”

  The four answers will be:

  Intelligent Human: “Yes, I am.”

  Unintelligent Human: “No, I am not.”

  Intelligent Vampire: “Yes, I am.”

  Unintelligent Human: “No, I am not.”

  Choice 2:

  Ask the guy: “Are you a vampire?”

  The four answers will be:

  Intelligent Human: “No, I am not.”

  Unintelligent Human: “Yes, I am.”

  Intelligent Vampire: “No, I am not.”

  Unintelligent Human: “Yes, I am.”

  Up to now, I am sure you can judge the species of all kinds.

  Unless, you’re an unintelligent human! Or an intelligent vampire! Gee…

   (Down Load)

  You know you make me wanna.

  You know you make me wanna.

  To start it off I know you know me

  To come to think of it, it was only last week.

  That I had a dream about us, oh.

  That’s why I am here, I’m writing this song.

  To tell the truth you know I have been hurting all along,

  Someway let me know, you want me girl.

  Everytime you see me what do you see?

  I feel like I’m a poor man and you’re the queen.

  Oh baby, you’re the only thing that I really need.

  Baby that’s why:

  You make me wanna call you in the middle of the night.

  You make me wanna hold you till the morning light.

  You make me wanna love, you make me wanna fall.

  You make me wanna surrender my soul.

  I know this is a feeling that I just can’t fight.

  You’re the first and last thing on my mind.

  You make me wanna love, you make me wanna fall.

  You make me wanna surrender my soul.

  Well I know that these feelings won’t end no, no.

  They’ll just get stronger if I see you again.

  Baby I’m tired of being friends.

  I wanna know if you feel the same

  And could you tell me do you feel my pain?

  Don’t leave me in doubt.

  Everytime you see me what do you see?

  I feel like I’m a poor man and you’re the queen.

  Oh baby, you’re the only thing that I really need.

  And baby that’s why:

  You make me wanna call you in the middle of the night.

  You make me wanna hold you till the morning light.

  You make me wanna love, you make me wanna fall.

  You make me wanna surrender my soul.

  I know this is a feeling that I just can’t fight.

  You’re the first and last thing on my mind.

  You make me wanna love, you make me wanna fall.

  You make me wanna surrender my soul.

  I’ll take you home real quick

  And sit you down on the couch

  Pour some dom perignon and hit the lights out.

  Baby we can make sweet love.

  Then we’ll take it nice and slow.

  I’m gonna touch you like you’ve never know before

  We’re gonna make love oh’ woo’ oh.

Not Foreigner,But International Person

Not Foreigner,But International Person

   Today,we are gonna talk about manners. 实际上Foreigner确实是一种相对不礼貌的表达方式,你可以换个角度去想,如果我是美国人,我现在中国给美国的朋友打电话,and i am talking like this: hey,buddy!I am here in China with some none-Americans! International person.Okay,hopefully you can be a polite person.

Millions of Americans will celebrate Christmas on December twenty-fifth. It is the most widely celebrated religious holiday in the United States.

  People buy gifts to give to family members and friends. They fill homes and stores with evergreen1 trees and bright, colored lights. They go to parties and prepare special Christmas food. Many people think Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.

  Many Christians go to church the night before the holiday or on Christmas Day. They celebrate Christmas as the birthday of Jesus Christ. Christian2 ministers3 speak about the need for peace and understanding in the world. This is the spiritual4 message of Christmas. Church services include traditional religious songs for the holiday. One of the most popular is "Silent Night."

  Many other Americans celebrate Christmas as an important, but non-religious holiday. To all, however, it is a special day of family, food, and exchanging gifts.

  Christmas is probably the most special day of the year for children. One thing that makes it special is the popular tradition of Santa Claus5.

  Young children believe that Santa Claus is a fat, kind, old man in a red suit with white fur. They believe that-on the night before Christmas-he travels through the air in a sleigh6 pulled by reindeer7. He enters each house from the top by sliding down the hole in the fireplace8. He leaves gifts for the children under the Christmas tree.

  Americans spend a lot of time and money buying Christmas presents. The average American family spends about 800 dollars. Stores and shopping centers are crowded at this time of year. More than 20% of goods sold during the year are sold during the weeks before Christmas. This is good for stores and for the American economy.

  Some people object to spending all this money. They say it is not the real meaning of Christmas. So, they celebrate in other ways. For example, they make Christmas presents, instead of buying them. Or they volunteer to help serve meals to people who have no homes. Or they give money to organizations that help poor people in the United States and around the world.

  Home and family are the center of the Christmas holiday. For many people, the most enjoyable tradition is buying a Christmas tree and decorating9 it with lights and beautiful objects. On Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, people gather around the tree to open their presents.

  Another important Christmas tradition involves food. Families prepare many kinds of holiday foods, especially sweets. They eat these foods on the night before Christmas and on Christmas day.

  For many people, Christmas means traveling long distances to be with their families. Another Christmas tradition is to go "caroling10."A group of people walk along the street. At each house, they stop and sing a Christmas song, called carol. Student groups also sing carols at schools and shopping centers.

   Not everyone in the United States celebrates Christmas. Members of the Jewish11 and Muslim12 religions, for example, generally do not. Yet many Americans do take part in some of the traditional performances of the season. One of the most popular is a story told in dance: "The Nutcracker13" ballet14. The music was written by Russian composer15 Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky in 1891.

  The ballet is about a young girl named Clara. Clara is celebrating Christmas with her family and friends. One of her Christmas presents is a little device16 to open nuts-a nutcracker. It is shaped like a toy soldier. She dreams that the nutcracker comes to life as a good-looking prince.

  Professional17 dance groups in many American cities perform the ballet at this time of year. They often use students from local ballet schools to dance the part of Clara and the other children in the story. This gives parents a chance to see their children perform.
